Provide reflective listening and utilization of the ( ALGEE), A: Assess for risk of suicide or harm. ![]() Also provide consultation to others involved in the life of 0–18-year-old children that have experienced multiple types of victimization and their families. Provide follow up case management which may include but is not limited to phone calls, follow-up home visits, and linkage referral to long-term supports, if needed.Conduct formal or informal screening or identification for appropriate inclusion in the project as a youth (0-18) that have experienced multiple types of victimization (or interpersonal adversities) as defined by the Victim of Crime Act, (VOCA).Provide on-scene de-escalation and supports for youth (0-18) that are directly or indirectly involved in victimization, including abuse or neglect, witnessing domestic violence, witnessing assault, witnessing illegal activities, witnessing illegal drug abuse or overdose, or other victimization.The Youth Advocate provides administrative oversight for Crisis Services and additionally directs services to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis participates in the delivery of Crisis Services to those individuals is responsible for providing face-to-face crisis response, and assessment to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis provides support and linkage to other area resources with follow-up contact with the individual, and performs other responsibilities as assigned.
